1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Nutrition RPG mobile application, the Nutrition RPG website at nutritionrpg.coldter.com, and related support communications operated by COLDTER.
Nutrition RPG is a food-journaling product. Nutrient values created from a meal photo or description are estimates for journaling, not medical measurements, diagnoses, treatment, or supplement advice.
2. Information the app handles
Profile and account details
You can create a local guest profile. When you choose to sign in, Nutrition RPG uses Sign in with Apple and receives the account identifier and any identity details Apple makes available based on your Apple settings and choices.
Your nutrition profile may include a display name, date of birth, sex used for nutrition reference calculations, height, weight, activity level, life stage, language, and nutrition quest selection. These details are used to select and preserve the reference targets that apply to each recorded day.
Meals and nutrition journal data
The app handles meal names, times, descriptions, portions, visible components, satiety notes, confirmed energy and nutrient values, journal edits, deletions, and quest progress. Missing nutrient information remains unknown rather than being replaced with zero.
Technical account data
Nutrition RPG processes session tokens, client-generated record identifiers, mutation identifiers, timestamps, and limited error or request identifiers needed to secure the account, sync changes, prevent duplicate writes, and investigate a support request.
3. Meal photos and AI-assisted estimates
A meal photo is processed only when you choose to photograph a meal for analysis. The app resizes and compresses the selected image before sending it securely to the Nutrition RPG service.
Cloudflare Workers AI processes the image or meal description to create an estimate that may include a meal name, portion, components, energy, macronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and an estimate-confidence value. You can review and edit the result before saving. Values that cannot be reasonably estimated are left unavailable.
Confirmed meal photos are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket and returned only after account authorization. They are not published as a gallery, used for advertising, or made available to other Nutrition RPG users.
4. How information is used
- Provide the meal journal, daily nutrient levels, macro ranges, quest progress, and cross-device sync.
- Generate an AI-assisted meal estimate that you can review before saving.
- Protect accounts, rotate sessions, prevent duplicate changes, and resolve sync conflicts.
- Respond to a support request and diagnose a reported error when you provide relevant details.
- Maintain service reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
Nutrition RPG does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs in the mobile app. COLDTER does not sell Nutrition RPG profile, meal, or photo data.
5. Storage and retention
- Cloud account, profile, meal, nutrient, session, and deletion records are stored in the dedicated Nutrition RPG database.
- A staged or failed meal photo that is not confirmed is removed within 24 hours.
- A confirmed meal photo remains until you delete the related meal or delete the account.
- Deleted synced records may be represented temporarily by deletion markers so another signed-in device does not restore them.
- Local guest or queued data remains on the device until it is cleared, synced, or removed through the app’s controls.
6. Service providers
Nutrition RPG uses Apple for account authentication and app distribution, and Cloudflare for the production API, database, private image storage, security, and AI-assisted analysis. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy obligations while supporting the requested service.
Information may be processed in locations where these providers operate. COLDTER limits the information sent to what is needed for the relevant function.
7. Website analytics
The marketing website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and real-user performance such as page loading and responsiveness. Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. The website does not use advertising pixels, marketing cookies, contact forms, or a custom click-tracking backend.
Cloudflare may also process limited network and request information needed to deliver, cache, and protect the website.
8. Your controls
- Review and edit an AI-assisted estimate before saving it.
- Edit or delete an individual meal from your journal.
- Change supported profile settings from Profile.
- Sign out and clear the signed-in session on the device.
- Delete the account and associated cloud data from Profile. The app also attempts to revoke the related Apple authorization and provides Apple account-management guidance if manual disconnection is still required.
9. Age eligibility
Nutrition RPG is intended for people aged 13 or older. The app does not support creating a nutrition profile for a person under 13.
10. Security
COLDTER uses access controls, private object storage, encrypted transport, protected session credentials, and account authorization checks designed to protect Nutrition RPG data. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the product, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version and its updated date will remain available at this URL.
